Frequently Asked Questions

  • I JUST PLACED AN ORDER, WHEN WILL IT SHIP?
    We aim to dispatch all in stock orders within 1-2 working days. All orders will be sent via tracked courier and shipped within 24 hours of payment being received. Orders placed on Saturday, Sunday and Public Holidays will be shipped on the following working day. Please allow 2 to 5 working days for NZ deliveries (Rural, 4-8 working days). For Australian delivery please allow between 15 and 20 working days. Rest of the world please allow around 30 working days. If you don't receive a tracking number after 2-3 business days please email us at creative@colourfulme.co.nz Please also bare in mind we only a small team and although we process orders as soon as we can, occasionally they can take a little longer than these time frames. If you are needing an order before a specific date, please get in touch with us before you place the order and we'll ensure it is fast tracked for you!
  • DELIVERY
    Delivery is made by courier. Please ensure the delivery address and receiver’s name for your order is accurate and complete (including any business name if shipping to a work address) as we may be unable to change these details once the order has been placed. We cannot take responsibility for any orders that go missing due to incorrect delivery information provided by you. Delivery to rural addresses may take longer in some areas. You must notify us within 7 days of the dispatch date if you have not received an item.
  • DELAYS
    There may be times where delivery or shipment is unfortunately delayed due to circumstances outside of our control, such as courier network delays, adverse weather, road closures, pandemics, silly seasons etc. Please feel free to contact us if you have not received your order within the targeted delivery time.
  • WE HAVEN'T RECEIVED A DISPATCH CONFIRMATION EMAIL YET?
    We aim to dispatch orders of in stock items as soon as we can - most of the time that is the same or next working day but occasionally it can take 2-3 days as we are only a small team and some weeks are busier than others. It also pays to double check in the item's products description on the website as some products have shipping times of up to 7-10 working days or occasionally longer. We do this on products that we don't carry large quantities of stock of, so that instead of the product showing up as sold out, we leave it up on the website so you're still able to purchase it and we send it out to you as soon as the new shipment of them arrives.
  • I AM NOT IN LOVE, CAN IT BE RETURNED?
    We have a 7-day return policy, which means you have 7 days after receiving your item to request a return. If 7 days have gone by since you received your item, unfortunately we are unable to offer you a refund or exchange. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn, unused and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the proof of purchase.
  • RETURNS PROCESS
    To begin your return, please contact us at creative@colourfulme.co.nz, please include full details your name, your order number and reason for return, that way we can set aside any items you may require for exchange. Returns must be received within 7 business days of receiving your order. Exchange is subject to availability. Returns and exchanges received outside of the above time frame will not be accepted. You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs on the original item are non-refundable, unless the item is defective or damaged. Please include full details, name and order number on the returned parcels. Once the item has been received and deemed to be in original condition, you will either be contacted to arrange the redelivery of your exchange or refunded on your original payment method on the original cost of the goods (excluding shipping charges). Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process the refund. If there are signs that the item has been worn, damaged or is not up to saleable quality we reserve the right to refuse the return.
  • EXCHANGES
    The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to contact us, then return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, we will send you the new item if available.
  • DAMAGES & ISSUES
    We take special care to check all items are free from any faults before being sent to you. In the unlikely event that you receive a faulty item we ask that you contact us at creative@colourfulme.co.nz, outlining the issue and attaching any relevant images. Returns of faulty goods must occur with 7 business days of receiving your parcel. All items returned as faulty will be inspected on receipt and any items deemed subject to general wear and tear, or mishandling, will not be accepted as faulty. In the first instance, we offer a direct exchange on faulty goods. If we do not have a replacement available we will happily offer you a refund to the value of the item at the time of purchase and any shipping costs incurred. Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
  • EXCEPTIONS / NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS
    Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
  • CAN I CANCEL MY ORDER?
    Once an order has been placed we are unable to cancel the order. In the instance that you ordered incorrectly and your order has not been dispatched, we will happily issue a credit or arrange an exchange.
  • PRICING
    The prices for the products listed on this site are in New Zealand Dollars, but exclude delivery charges.
